Terms of Use
These terms govern access to and use of TropyCash. By using the service you accept all the terms, conditions and policies set out here.

1. General
TropyCash is a decentralized project. Throughout this document, "we", "us" and "our" refer to the group of people who build and maintain it. There is no company backing the service and no registered address to write to: the only contact channel is info@tropycash.com.
You should understand what that means in practice: you do not have the guarantees, complaint mechanisms or consumer protections that a regulated institution would offer. If that is not acceptable to you, do not use the service.
Access to the service is conditioned on your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with them, you must not use it.
2. The service
TropyCash is an interface that lets you create a self-custody account, hold and send crypto assets, and, if you choose to, withdraw their value in cash or through a card transfer in the localities where the service is available.
We are not a financial institution, an exchange, or a custodian of funds. We do not take deposits, pay interest on balances, or lend users' money. We also give no financial, tax or investment advice: decisions about what you hold and when you move it are yours alone.
3. Eligibility and age
By using the service you represent that you are of legal age in your place of residence and have the legal capacity to be bound by these terms.
You are responsible for confirming that using the service — and in particular sending money to the destination you choose — is lawful for you under the rules that apply to you, including any restrictions arising from your nationality or residence. Do not use the service where the law does not allow you to.
4. Your account and your keys
Your account is a smart contract that requires two of three signatures to operate: one from your device, one from your wallet, and a third held by the project that exists solely to make account recovery possible.
That third signature alone cannot move your funds. Even so, the model deserves an accurate description: it is shared custody with a signature threshold, not absolute self-custody. We cannot move your funds on our own, and you do not depend on a single device to keep them.
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your access and recovery factors. Losing all of them at once can leave the account permanently inaccessible: the funds will still exist, but nobody — including us — will be able to move them on your behalf.
The application lets you export your wallets' keys and recovery phrases at any time. They are yours and they work outside of here: with them you can operate from any compatible software, without our involvement.
We recommend exporting and saving them when you create the account, not when you need them. On some networks, regenerating the recovery phrase requires our service to take part, so holding your own copy is what guarantees your autonomy against any disruption.
We will never ask you for your recovery phrase, your keys or your verification codes, through any channel. Anyone who does is attempting to defraud you.
5. Transfers and deliveries
When you request a quote you choose the delivery method — cash or card transfer — and that method is fixed on the order. The recipient does not choose it and cannot change it afterwards.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the recipient's details. Incorrect details can prevent delivery or cause it to be made to someone other than the intended person, with no possibility of reversal.
The delivery times shown are estimates based on typical experience, not guaranteed commitments. They depend on third parties and on conditions on the ground that we do not control.
If the charge does not complete, the operation reverts and you are not charged anything. If the charge completes and delivery subsequently fails, the refund is not automatic: it is handled case by case by writing to info@tropycash.com.
6. Limits, fees and exchange rate
Transfers are subject to a minimum and maximum amount per operation, shown in the application when you request a quote.
We apply a service fee, whose percentage decreases as the amount grows, and a delivery fee that varies with the destination locality. The service fee is subject to a minimum amount, so on small transfers its relative weight is higher than the stated percentage.
Before you confirm any operation, the full fee breakdown and the exact total are displayed. No charges other than those shown on that screen are applied.
For deliveries denominated in local currency we use a market reference exchange rate, shown when you request the quote. That rate fluctuates and is not set by us.
7. Risks you assume
Operations recorded on a blockchain are irreversible. Sending to the wrong address or the wrong network means the funds are permanently lost, with no possibility of recovery on our part.
Crypto asset values fluctuate. Assets designed to hold a stable peg can lose it. That price risk falls entirely on you.
The service depends on public networks, infrastructure providers and partners at the destination. An interruption in any of them can delay or prevent an operation.
8. Acceptable use, sanctions and money-laundering prevention
The service may not be used to launder money, finance unlawful activity, circumvent legal restrictions, impersonate third parties, or interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the system.
By using the service you declare that you are not listed as a sanctioned person or entity by the United States Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or on equivalent lists of other competent authorities, that you are not acting on behalf of or for the benefit of anyone so listed, and that you do not reside in a territory subject to comprehensive sanctions.
It is likewise prohibited to use the service to send funds to sanctioned persons or entities, or to route funds to them indirectly. You are responsible for confirming that the recipient you register is not in that situation.
Every operation is reviewed by our team before delivery takes place, and each change of status is recorded. We reserve the right to request additional information about an operation or the people involved, and to reject it, hold it or not complete delivery where that information is not provided or where the operation is incompatible with these terms.
The scope of that control deserves to be stated precisely: it consists of a human review of each operation, not an automated identity-verification or sanctions-screening system. Responsibility for your operation being lawful in your jurisdiction, and for the recipient being able to receive it, therefore remains yours.
We may restrict access to an account from our interface when we detect use contrary to these terms or when it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
That measure reaches our interface only. We do not hold your funds and we cannot block, freeze or seize them: they sit on public blockchains and your account keys are yours and exportable. Restricting access means you would no longer be able to operate from this application, not that you would lose control of your money.
9. Availability and liability
The service is provided as available at any given time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue it.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for damages arising from the loss of your keys, from errors in the data you enter, from asset volatility, from failures of external networks or providers, or from use of the service contrary to these terms.
10. Changes and contact
We may amend these terms at any time. The date of the latest revision appears at the top of the document, and changes take effect once published. When a change is material, we will notify it inside the application.
For any question about these terms, you can write to us at info@tropycash.com.
